Kaiser Universe
I recently gave my Kaiser Universe To Derek Because it Had stopped working The Universe is an unusual Anniversary/torsion clock with extras Thr pendulum being hidden under the base and displays a revolving globe of the earth, it also includes display of the changing phases of the moon .
Derek is clearly a specialist with torsion clocks, he was kind enough to show me his remarkable collection, and my clock needed specialist attention, including many fine adjustments and even a lathe turned piece to replace one missing .
I am delighted with the results even (the phases of the moon never worked before ) and Derek was generous with his time and advice.

We found Derek online after many months of trying to find someone to repair my late mother in laws Anniversary clock.
Right from the start Derek could not have been more helpful, we took the clock to his house and within a week we had email pictures of it all stripped down and a video of it working for the first time in 30 years.

Having been recommended by a local clock repairer I contacted Derek about the repair of our sentimentally valuable clock, I dropped it off at his home and was happy to receive an email a few days later from Derek saying he had done an initial inspection, he had found the faults and was confident he could return the clock back to full working order, A few days later he sent a link to a video of our clock with the pendulum turning happily once again and keeping good time.
I was delighted to collect the clock and meet Derek in person he had done a first class job and is highly recommended.
